You may not have to register the Mini 2 with the FAA, but you should take the TRUST test and keep a copy with you when you fly, if you haven't done it yet.

No problems there. I took the Trust test before my drone got delivered.

I also registered the drone with FAA whether it needed it or not. I do plan to attach a 3sm light for a few night flights later on.

I do plan to attach a 3sm light for a few night flights later on.

I have purchased about half dozen of the smaller circuit board type strobes that attach using Velcro.

I'm now flying the Arc V's using the Aerial-Pixel mounts on my MA2 day or night.

The drones are easy to lose sight of because they are grey and small. A twinkle from a strobe will help reacquire the location of the drone.
