Compass redundancy switch message mid-flight

Before and after the twist. Cured 90% of compass problems but still has random compass problems when landing.
 
I won't do a surgery to my Mavic... don't have the ability to do that... will kill him...

Btw don't see or understand what you change in the beast
 
After removing top cover(notice wires not twisted at all) removed couple of screws holding back motor arms at pivot points then lifted up arm assembly then rotated arm assembly to twist wires from arm joint to where they solder to main board.
No wires are unsoldered this way.
Understand your reluctance to take apart. I read all about this in another thread, many pages.
With the compass problems I was having anytime I was in sport mode I was also losing gps also so I figured What the hell. I have DJI refresh but I don't want an exchange unit, figured I'd save that for a real crash.
Last picture is with wires twisted and ready to lower back down to mavic body.
 
What does "Compass Redundancy" mean? I've had that pop up a few times, especially in the city.
It means the Mavic has switched from using the primary magnetic compass in the rear, to a secondary unit up front.
