No, I am afraid the compass is locked in size and format.

Thanks guys. I find it a bit silly I'm a fisherman by trade and also have pilots licence and compass is probably most important instrument. I seen a you tube clip and the guy could enlarge it in middle of screen must be earlier version of app. But I think it's a step backwards hard to believe. Again thank you.
