Fly through 3d text title

Hi guys, i saw a video a few weeks ago where the title of the video was static text on the screen and it looked like the mav flew through it.
Any ideas how this would be achieved, fyi i'm using powerdirector 15

Have to see the effect, but in PowerDirector you'd have to do something like having the text sandwiched between the same copy of the video, and then mask out everything around the mavic in the top video layer. move the mask with the video, and then fade it out when it goes through the text? Probably done in Premiere or FCP, which has better control of masking and tracking!
