That should be 30m (about 90ft) high and 50m (about 150ft) out.
Perhaps you're in beginner mode? You'd need the app to check, unless the RC would display it.

yea i get about 30 feet up and 20 feet out and before it goes into gps mode, sport mode works and distance is far but once gps mode gets on, the range is about 20 feet away and 30 feet up with no sport mode
