Gimbal broke while stored inside the box

I had my Mavic stored in the box since last saturday, when i last used it. I was going to pick it up today and to astonishment, the back of the gimbal, where the clamp attaches is broken!

I can such a crucial part brake like this?!

Some other people have reported this issue here. DJI should fix it under warranty if you contact DJI support.
 
I had the same problem, but if you bought on DJI Store, the best solution is refund and purchase new Mavic. Because service does not currently have drones for the replacement or repair parts. And DJI Pre-Sale and Post-Sale support is the worst I've seen.

At the end I changed my case from replacement to refund, because this was never ending story.

For the US, I wonder why support sucks so badly? Is it lack of training, too many broken drones and overwhelmed? Of course bad management or lack of caring.
