I've had my goggle for about a week. They do have a bit of a learning curve and there are some things that need improvement but that's every product. I've been doing a lot of testing and trying different modes and practicing getting used to the goggles interface.
My experience is this. I'm sure not everyone will have the same issues. I'm looking for others with similar or additional bugs to look out for.
When switching to Sport mode during flight and flight controlled by head movements, the drone continues forward flight but spins just like if you had the left stick slammed over to one side. I haven't found a way to make it stop other than powering down the goggles. The left stick has no control at that point. I think there may be a conflict between the head flight tracking and Sport mode. And it doesn't happen right away nor every time but when it does it gives off a pretty big pucker factor! The altitude stays the same but both sticks are dead.
Another problem I've been having is the goggles lock everything up. The camera, the iPad app and the controller. Again, I have to shut down the goggles and the controller and restart to make it go back to normal.
I'm not flying far away. And keep testing the functions. I use an iPad mini to view the flight in addition to the goggles.
I hope to hear about others having bugs and what if anything you do to fix it. I'm hoping the upcoming update will solve some of these issues.
Thank!
