Have a Dji mavic pro drone that previously used an android phone and will now switch to ios pad mini 4
Is there something I have to do to and use the mini 4 apart from download dji go4 for ipad , Do I still need to use pc tl dji assistant 2 or is there something I have to do there need guidance and am grateful for any help

Just log into your DJI account.

It doesn't matter what device you are using.

I did a test flight with my Spark years ago and was able to switch between an Android phone and the Apple mini 4 during the flight to replicate a device failure ( dead battery ).

It just took a moment while the Spark was hovering to load up the Go4 app and continue flying with a different device.

Most, if not all of DJI drones can fly without a device.

It's not recommended as you don't have telemetry, but the RC is still connected and as long you have eyes on it, it'll fly fine.

A poster said that there's no ASSISTANT 2 for iOS.

Does anyone know if there is a DJI Assistant 2 for the IPAD so you can update your hardware when traveling? I did download a DJI Assistant from the APP store, however, it does not let me use my DJI LOG IN. Any suggestions?

Assistant 2 is a mac/Windows app, no mobile devices.
