This video serves another great purpose: Shows how hard it is to see a drone against an urban landscape, demonstrating why situational awareness by the drone operator is so important. No manned aircraft has any chance of seeing a drone in any timely manner

Take your remote


Grab your right stick


As the drone is in the air
Flying

Move the right stick side to side fast








Drone rocks side to side
I do it all the time to everyone
I fly to get their attention
Make them have a good look at me

I rock the drone to wave at them
Or if they wave at me
I rock back at them
You ever see a mavic pro
With a dented front
And missing front landing gear with the antenna exposed waving at you
In Baltimore city Maryland
That was me

Before my drone's exposed antenna broke off (order replacement arm)
There were kids outside
That were more or less my age
They were playing
Then they see me
You ever fly not to photograph, but for attention? And mabye even... A friend?..
I do
The kids waved at me
So I wave back
And they get exited
I love the sight
Try it sometimes

As soon as I fix my drones arm, the first thing I'll do is fly it to where the drone pilot was and wait for him to come out

Today I was flying because my dad was having a grill out
I take videos and stuff for my own enjoyment
A wild drone appeared and went as far as follow me all the way back to my homepoint
It hovered around the area I was flying
I'm not scared at all
I kinda always wanted this
I always wanted friends who were drone pilots

A really interesting discussion that I enjoyed - except for the use of jargon - sadly something that is happening more and more in printed matter.

Skywatcher2001 posted an interesting reply but I got to "YT" and thought 'what's the hell's that!"​

I wondered, and wondered, and then carried on reading other replies and then I got to one that said "YOU TUBE" and the penny dropped.

How many times have 'you' been baffled by acronyms in text, when the writer could have simply spelt it out?

I just head to google and type "what is YT in social media" (or whatever the acronym is). Probably don't even need all that to get a return. But that pretty much guarantees the first result is going to be what you are looking for.
