Mavic 2 RID Update- Losing Litchi Support?

I would think these two functions are completely unrelated and I would always expect a SDK client such as Litchi to just work.

Actually, litchi depends on the SDK to operate and DJI could decide to disable or change it in their updates.

The update has had no negative effect on my M2P while using Litchi.

Thanks for the report. I am using a Dronetag BS RID tag for one of mine to be compliant as a 107 holder and I’m not going to update it, but I have a second one I have to make compliant by either doing the update or getting another drone BS tag. Still on the fence about it but as soon as I have a large area to map out, I would like to use both drones simultaneously for it (with a second pilot).

Agreed. I could have phrased my reply better as I am well aware of the SDK dependencies that virtual stick applications have. My comment was more centered around the addition of RID versus the deprecation of virtual stick commands via the SDK.
