Long story short, after an hour or two flying 0700 in park went out to give it a run, Took to a local spot i know where 2 kilos is a good testing ground over fields and lakes.
first flight at 1.6 kilos lost everything in immediate fashion IE RC and video went from 3 bars to zero
RC says connecting so i hit RTH, i get the bleeping but no coming home on RC just connecting. Look at remote and AC is just static, no Distance count down on RC urghhhhhh. so sit and wait tap fingers etc etc.
suddenly RC shows distance closing again but that must of been 30 to 40 secs after beeping shows RTH active.
bring her in and change battery's. Look at flight log in DJI go App, it recorded my outward flight bit nothing of my return home flight. At the point i lost signal nothing recorded around 600 metres back it all connected up again but still did not record flight log.
flight two
after looking at flight one out i noticed i had deviated from a true straight line by about 1 degrees.
So this time i line her up perfectly straight and try again.This time 3 kilos no signal loss on RC or Phone.
no issues at all, just goes to show you that even a 1 degree deviation can change a flight in a big way.
