Mavic Pro Propeller Guard recommendations

Greetings and happy new year to all of you!
May 2019 bring a lot of drone flying with good views!

Guys, I want to buy propeller guards as it can rescue me from crashes etc.. What is your opinions? Do you recommend it? If so, I will buy some from eBay including landing gear.

Prop guards and prop cages are great tools. They will keep you from crashing into things, and also keep you from damaging props and motors.

If you are always doing close-in flying, low and slow, prop cages are the most protection you can get. They are more pricey than guards, but offer alot more protection.

I find leg extensions very beneficial and always use them. Prop guards are not used by most fliers, but may have their place in certain circumstances. Those brave enough to fly in the house seem to use them.

There are a lot of pigeons where I live, so afraid that they will attack my bird and hit the propeller

Only if you go coouuu, coouuu, coouuuu. Its a proven fact.

If you go full bore with the Prop Cages there is a setting that one needs to turn on within DJIGO4 that lets the Mavic know that it needs to make allowances for the different flight characteristics.

If you make cooing sounds it will attract pigeons as thats the sound they make. When I fly my Mavic near birds I always yell " Who wants a haircut"! Seems to work pretty well so far at keeping them away.

It works for little kids too.
