Ditto. Excellent case and much more accommodating than the smaller hard cases from GoPro and MC-Cases. I prefer the soft sling cases for transport of the Mavic, 4 batteries, cables and all chargers. These fit very well in most sling cases and small backpacks.
For air travel (been on 4 trips with the Mavic already), I also prefer to carry on the sling case which you can take in addition to a regular carryon. I don't see the point of checking this case, or any hard case, when you can easily carry on.
I use this case for long term storage and local use of the Mavic. It's still small, light and everything is open and easily accessible.
In summary, for travel, for small format, I prefer the sling case instead of the smaller hard cases, and this larger case for storage and local use.
As a non professional, I still laugh when I think of my old clunky Phantom 2 hard cases, and even worse, my Inspire hard case. They were a huge pain in the *** to travel with. The Mavic is pure joy.
Quality of this case is excellent and the red interior looks great. Very impressive, costly, but you get what you pay for.
