New Mavic Air won't connect - function button issue

Hello all,
just purchased a mavic air. I can't get it to connect in any way. As soon as turning on the aircraft the function button flashes constant, rapid green and pressing it will not beep for connection. Have tried with two different batteries.

Ideas are appreciated as the DJI online support person seems to have forgotten we have a conversation going.

It it's new, it might already be bound to the controller. Here's what I do. Turn on the drone. Wait 1 minute. Turn on the controller. Wait 1 minute. The controller should bind to the drone. Then I plug the USB from the controller to the phone.

Take some video. Maybe we can troubleshoot if it doesnt work.
