Hi Guys!

New pilot here from SA's Lowveld Region - close to the Kruger Park.

I got myself a Mavic Pro last week, and I have been enjoying it immensely.

Photography and Video is a long neglected hobby of mine, and the Mavic Pro will definitely rectify this.

I have countless hours experience flying drones in ARMA3 and Wildlands, so I was very apprehensive about flying a real drone:

In the games the drones are very easy to handle and stay exactly where you put them in the air.

I reckoned that flying the Mavic was bound to be a learning curve and something to get used to.

After about 6 flights so far I am very happy to say that for me there is zero learning curve regarding the controls and handling. It is just like handling one of the drones in the games.

The remote controller is VERY ergonomic and easy to use, the stability and handling of the drone is absolutely amazing, takeoffs and landing (even manual) could not be easier. The tripod mode is brilliant. I love playing around with the flight data. Photo and video quality is top notch!

Only problem so far is that the video feed gets severely scrambled to the point of being useless on my Samsung Note 4. But on the TAB S3 it works perfectly.
