Awesome - battery technology is just going leaps and bounds, U think a lot of the time because a battery is quite a mundane thing we tend to overlook just how much the advances have enabled a lot of modern technology like our drones - can't wait for 60+ minute flight times.

Anyone attached a solar panel to their MP yet?

Not enough upper surface area on a Mavic for solar panels and too much power drain since quadcopters are not energy efficient fliers. For fixed wing aircraft, though, the situation changes: much more upper surface area for mounting solar cells due to the wings, and much more energy efficiency for flight.

These guys were able to keep their solar panel equipped RC airplane in flight continuously for 3 days and 9 hours.
