Using DJI Go 4 or Pilot PE for Automated Waypoints

Hello all,

100% newbie here.

- Mavic 2 Pro
- Smart Controller

In either GO 4/Pilot PE can you set a waypoint to:
- Have aircraft arrive, face N, then slowly rotate 360?

I've been able to figure some of it out, but cant get to face N, or do a 360.

Also, can you program rate of rotation?

Appreciate advice.

No, you can't do it.
DJI Pilot PE is version 1.6.1 and has not the features as DJI Pilot 1.8.0.
In Pilot 1.8.0 you can setup the waypoint as you wish, but it's cumbersome.

I recommend using Dronelink on your SC. With that app it's completely easy to setup your task.

Recommend, since you state you’re 100% new, read the 70 page online only manual from the DJI website.... then get comfortable just flying your drone first.

Dronelink is NOT made for the Smart Controller, per Jim Andrews, the founder, owner and president. I purchased the annual subscription, had lots of flight issues with the app crashing mid-flight, communicated a bunch with Jim -- and he finally told me that it is not made for that. And he nicely gave me my $99 back. I now use Pilot PE.
