Waiting on my first Drone Mavic A2. I will have many questions, hope I can find them here!! Thanks

Welcome to the forum! :)

Here are some things to help you get started with your Mavic Air 2:
  • The current Mavic Air 2 manual can be downloaded here (it doesn't come in the box). Other important documents can be found on the Mavic Air 2 downloads page.

  • Check out this getting started guide for some tips not found in the Mavic Air 2 manual.

  • This video covers all the basics of the Mavic Air 2.

  • Your drone batteries will last longer if you use and maintain them like this.

  • Practice flying outdoors in a wide open location that's free of all obstacles. Don't attempt to fly inside your house or in other confined locations.

  • The drone records flight data each time you fly. You can decrypt and view those flight logs with these tools.

  • Check out MavicHelp.com for commonly used accessories you might need.

Welcome to the forum from the beautiful woods of Maine!
There’s many knowledgeable members willing to help you with any questions you have. As Dirkclod said, search the forum first and if you don’t find an answer, post your question and I’m sure you’ll get a quick response. Flytpath on YouTube has a good series of videos from unboxing to your first flight. Fly safe and stay safe!

Here are some cautionary notes; Since your new, be very careful when flying near trees. Don't get overconfident with the proximity sensors protecting or warning you. Don't' depend on object avoidance. You're likely to crash. Many newcomers to the hobby often get caught up in trees, especially the smaller branches. Best to stay away, or watch your drone carefully when around trees. Stay away from pole wires, I doubt you'll get a warning from the sensors. Lastly pay close attn to your battery levels, until you are really familiar with how long you can safely fly and how much power is needed to return home; don't depend on the app to tell you, it's just a guide. Oh, and as others said, practice in an open field, especially when trying out the automated flight functions. Experiment with them until your comfortable. They may surprise you. Be ready to press cancel, if needed. Return To Home (RTH) is a good one to learn first and watch how accurate the landing is. Most operators set the value of RTH to the highest object in their flight area. You don't want it attempting a return home when under an obstacle.

Greetings!
