IMU, or inertial measurement unit, is an electronic device that measures and reports an object's specific force, angular velocity and attitude (including its course angle, pitch angle, and roll angle) using data from an accelerometer, gyroscope, thermometer, and barometer.
That exact part is not within every Mavic. That exact part is only present in the
Mavic 2 Pro and
Mavic 2 Zoom.
Every Mavic does have an IMU though that varies by model.
