When will apple start shipping?

i chatted with apple yesterday which mad me even more mad. i placed order in the 29th of sept and no new info. makes me so mad other people who ordered weeks later had theres ship and deliver already

+1 to that, although I'm late to the game compared to you.
Is it normal for Apple to sell stuff in store before fulfilling preorders?

I tried calling them and spoke to a "specialist". The only thing they told me, was to expect it by december 14 (as stated in my original order confirmation). I tried telling them that it have hit the shelves, but that didn't change anything according to the specialist.

What the hell is going on? How would apple do that? I feel sorry to people who preorder almost two months ago and still didn't receive it. I just talked on the phone with apple specialist and confirmed that it's set to be picked up early evening..

i also bought mine from the EPP store with my employer discount. today i received an invoice and the status says "Shipping to store." My order was placed on 10/12 so I wasn't that early but that's nice.

I actually am not available to pick this up in the store for about 3 more weeks. Does anyone know how long Apple will hold at the store?

mine arrived and is ready for in-store pickup. kind of annoyed since i was just there 2 days ago (about 3 hours away) but won't be back there again for another 3 weeks. but i might try to schedule another trip over there to get this.

My Mavic finally left Memphis, TN at 3:55pm. Still expected to arrive tomorrow. Ordered Oct. 13 from apple.com.
