Wifi on tablet on or off?

Do people turn the wifi on the tablet off, or put the tablet into Airplane mode when flying?
I see the con being not having maps, but the pros being one less set of interference on the controller.

I leave it on. Doesn't seem to make any difference in my experience. However, I can see where it might in some circumstances.

I turn it off when I'm away from home but it really isn't a part of my preflight checklist. I have not noticed any difference on or off.

As long as you have viewed the flight area in the map before flying, the map detail should be cached and displayed when Wi-Fi is my understanding.

can you view the flight area in the go app prior to flying so it caches it? sorry still waiting in my mavic so not sure how the app works when you don't have wifi or cell signal

I usually leave mine on unless I think I'm experiencing issues. But thats only been a very few times in all the flights I've done with my ALL DJI drones.

I typically get to a location, hotspot to my phone, get the maps for the area, then turn off my phone's hotspot...
