Zoom release gadget

I have a release gadget for a Zoom. I haven't been able to figure out how to get the Smart Controller to make it work. No directions . Thanks for this group.

Educate me... what is your release gadget? Pics?

Usually these are triggered making use of the landing light that you can configure to one of the trigger buttons. But, let’s see what you have

It is a RCGEEK double release. No directions on how to connect it to the Smart Controller. Thank you.

Ok, you need to have the sensor aligned with the lower landing light, and then set the control of that light to one of the trigger buttons to turn light on and off. The light sensor on the drop mech with open and close the release mech
