Confirmed landing but never requested it

Yesterday while flying around 10 meters in elevation on a foggy day my Mavic Mini decided to land without me requesting it to. I pushed forward on the port stick cancelling the landing, but it decided to do another confirmed landing. I cancelled the landing again, but decided to land the UAV to see if it was okay. I did a hand landing and did a cursory check of the Mini. It looked okay, so I flew it again for about ten minutes and called it a day. I looked at my logs and did not see any sensor errors, just the confirmed landings. As I mentioned the weather was foggy and I did see some condensation around the gimble. Could that be what caused the Mini to want to land?

In fog the vision height sensor will often get confused by fog and think that the ground is very close. Down throttle at that point will trigger autoland. Without seeing the flight log I'm just speculating, however.

OK - so that is what happened. The vision height system was detecting the fog as the ground, and reading less than 1 meter height. Each time you applied full down throttle the FC switched to forced landing:
