I had the same problem a week after first getting it. I flew sideways into a tree. After fighting with the branches it fell towards the ground but corrected itself only to fly straight back up and into the tree. This time it lost the fight and crashed. It could fly but a small rod in the gimble was broken so wouldn't turn. Anyway it had to be sent to Hong Kong for repairs as no parts were available here in New Zealand. (this was when they first came out). It cost $480 NZ and three weeks round trip.
