Crashed my Mavic, the wire that's on the gimbal, not the ribbon has a broken strand. But it looks like the cable is connected to the camera board. Just checking before I put everything back together.

I work on a boat. And I imagine it was some sort of magnetic issue.

I took off, then looked up, and it just flew off. I was 5 feet from it when it happened. I ordered a cable too. Lots of errors popped up AFTER it crashed. If I sell it, I will disclose everything and make sure it works with 10-15 flights first. Here is the screen shot of the errors:

How do I do that? I've been trying to figure it out all day.

I don't know. I don't have DJI refresh, but I ordered the parts to fix it which was a broken arm and that piece of aluminum that holds the gimbal, and a new ribbon. $100. As soon as it's fixed, it's going on eBay.

Everything was fine. Took off, 2 seconds later, it just flew right into the trees. YAY!!

I was near the BRP which is part of the National Park system. When I guess I crossed into the NP system land, I got a warning on my screen that said I was in a restricted area. Pretty cool that DJI has boundaries set that stop you from getting in trouble.

My neighbor that's a friend that has a flat track in his backyard asked me to record them. I'm about 1/2 mile away. I flew over and recorded a little bit.

The new Mavic will probably be as much as the P4P now, since the P5 price is rumored around $2200.

Still working on editing and filming. I had to use Adobe Premiere Pro, and I'm new to it. I'm a Sony Vegas guy.

I had a small one before my Mavic. It did help, but I did break it haha.

I'm still waiting from Carolina Dronz..... DJI Direct says 3-5 days. wtf.......
