Is the home point accurate? Were you on a boat? I am not an expert at these things, other than to say, there seems to be a common thread with auto takeoff, auto landing and bodies water causing issues. That said, that thing took off and accelerated to its doom. Almost like it was doing a large TBE(toiled bowl effect).

This incident has all the earmarks of having launched from a geomagnetically distorted location. As @Malavic asked, was it launched from a boat, with tool boxes, etc.? When launched the logs show that the Mavic flew sideways (to it's right) with no aileron input that would cause that. It's probably the case that the Mavic was pointing SE but the distortion caused the FC to think it was pointing NE. Anyway, if you want to know for sure you'll need to retrieve the .DAT. Look here to see how to do that. It will be large so you'll need to Dropbox it and post a link.

I work on a boat. And I imagine it was some sort of magnetic issue.
