Ive had the Mavic Pro now about 3 years and given away and now have a Mavic 2. have always used a pelican type padded case to store/carry Mavic/batteries/charger/controller etc. To date I charged them just on a table. Sometimes overnight. Use only the original Mavic charger. Still haven't heard...
You are not allowed legally to fly it in UAE without GCAA registration which is only available to UAE nationals and expat residents.
You can carry it in your checked luggage through UAE airports you will not be stopped and your drone will not be retained by customs either.
That doesn't say your drone 'will' be confiscated. Thats very strong language.
The letter says 'maybe' retained.
FYI I have been travelling in and out of the UAE both Dubai and Abu Dhabi with my drone in checked luggage with no issues at all. Checked luggage is x-rayed in the baggage areas...

I have found that using the polar prop app shutter guide app, and checking the shutter without a filter at take off altitude in very bright sunlight need a 64 even a 128. I had the 6 pack first. But couldn't find only the 64 to buy so ended up buying a 3 pack 64/128/256. I doubt i will ever use...
