Ive had the Mavic Pro now about 3 years and given away and now have a Mavic 2. have always used a pelican type padded case to store/carry Mavic/batteries/charger/controller etc. To date I charged them just on a table. Travelling to Dubai - Regulations as a tourist?

You are not allowed legally to fly it in UAE without GCAA registration which is only available to UAE nationals and expat residents. You can carry it in your checked luggage through UAE airports you will not be stopped and your drone will not be retained by customs either.

Is one Landing Pad better than the others?

Yes me too. I thought it might be the light conditions reflections etc. But it happens randomly not specific at different light conditions.

    Point of Interest..how to cancel

Concerning the pause at full forward speed, I have a question. Once while flying full forward I released the forward stick and accidentally pulled it back a bit. The drone came to a violent stop and reared up. It was over water just a couple of feet above and I really thought it was going...

    British Columbia and Washington Area

Thank you and yes I did fly around the potholes. I also use the B4ufly app and shows me when an airfield is within 5 miles. The mudflats are a nice area but within 5 miles of an airport. I've checked out SkyWatch for liability insurance unfortunately only for US citizens. I'm guessing Verifly...
