Agreed sar just throwing some thoughts out there as something doesn't add up. Another thought was a total loss of the c2 link and hd link but that would still leave a partial flight record and the craft should self initiate a RTH.

Steve best practice is to charge before you are due to fly. I charge my batteries the night before. Outside of this my batteries are stored between 40 and 60 % I aim for 50 %. There are a few reasons for this as you will see if you search the threads as suggested by Thunderdrones
