Hi, here's what works for me.
The order is quite important:
1. Attach phone to controller and unlock the phone
2. Close all apps and put phone in airplane mode
3. Power on controller and select "DJI fly" to open with the accessory (I use android)
4. Power on the Drone and wait for connection...
Hi guys. Had the same problem with DJI Pilot and Dronelink not working on the S21 Ultra flying the M2ED and the MA2. Bought the phone especially for use with Dronelink since the processing is very fast. Very disappointed.
At least DJI Fly works well. But now I cant fly the M2ED.
Also use DD and WebODM. You can specify output parameters and tweek a couple of settings to speed up the processing. If you are running it using a Virtual machine, through docker desktop for instance, then check the hardware allocation to the VM as you may not even be using half of your...
Welcome aboard.
The Mini does not have the greatest signal stability and I have had flights that go out 1.5km no hickups on some days and on others I get signal interference when I am just 300m away. Adjust your antennas and try not to fly directly above you (in my experience).
From your pic...
I agree.
One caveat though, I use the drones for mapping and the accuracy of the maps is determined by the number of features that the software can recognize between overlapping photographs.
I have run identical mapping missions with both drones and the outputs (photos) from the Mini yield...
Here are 2 pics from the original Mini and the MA2 shot using Dronelink while mapping. The Mini for some reason was set to 16:9 and the Air 2 at 4:3. Both Drones were at 40m ATL and images were taken minutes apart.
I also noticed some disparity between pics from my original mini vs. the MA2. What I realised (and I am not a photographer by any means) is that:
1. The Mini was set to 2230 x 4000 pixels (16:9) and the contrast is much higher in the Jpegs from the mini
2. Looking at images shot at nadir (-90...
Morning all
Was wondering if anyone here from our little tip of the continent has any experience with the process of getting an RPL. I would like to get one but am not sure what the best course of action may be.
Cheers
This is only true for the native app in the field. As stated above, you can plan missions in your browser using the same interface that you would on a PC.
Which DL plan are you on? according to DL the high resolution mapping function is only available as an experimental on the growth plan. I flew a "Mavic Air 2 (48mp)" mission today and captures were all in 12mp.
Awesome thanks so much for this really appreciate it.
Maybe its there but if I may ask:
1. What was your flight height?
2. Which software did you process with and what was your processing resolution?
I've bought the drone but am waiting for weather to clear before flying :-(
Hi guys thanks again for the welcome. The MA2 was on special on this side of the pond and the special was about to end so I bit the bullet and got the drone. I am yet to fly it.
I will be using it for mapping and am anxious to see how the results will look. Dronelink is awesome, you guys must...
Hi all
Thanks for the warm welcome
I am specifically interested to know if the 48mp mapping mode as used with Dronelink will give me any advantages re. GSD (Ground sampling distance)(the distance on the ground that each pixel represents). With the mini flying at 40m altitude I am getting about...
