Extra large one inch thick foam pads that came as packaging with an appliance I ordered. I usually don't fly if the wind speeds are in double digits and in those speeds it has never flown away. It can be secured with stakes if needed. Might probably do a paint job on them when I get the chance.

Planning to practice that today. The video was a slowmo mode shot 240fps. Nothing fancy just made the drone drop quick from 10-12 feet to 1 feet to get it.

Well a wee ?bit of exaggeration may be but it did clean slice off 1 mm of skin of my index finger making a nice little crater. Those blades are sharp. I got the pinch type damage too on the thumb. All the black on my thumb are internal clots from the pinch.

Likely because you had a lot of rebound hits. In my case the drone was going straight up hit the branch and was down pretty quick.

Thankfully though that day wasn't a total loss . I did manage to get some good snow fall shots (or at least I think it was good for my skill level as a beginner)
