    Mavic 2 Pro Calibration

My M2P does that about 30%-50% of the time. I usually go through the exercise of calibrating the compass, but the few times I didn't calibrate, it was fine. It's good to know that I can just check the sensor state of the map.

    Harassed by homeowner

HOA property is private property and they can restrict you from being on the property and from launching on the property. Once the drone is launched, they have no more rights over the airspace than anyone else. If someone complains, then defuse the situation as described in the other posts in...

Mavic 3 SDK - Admin Please leave here

Unfortunately, that's not how their SDK works. Without going deep into the weeds, you have to use their KeyManager API calls to get the key to access a hardware module. If a platform is not supported by the API. it will not provide the key and you won't be able to access that module. That's...

Was that Khill trial? It took two more trials, but he was convicted of manslaughter and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Man fatally shoots another over a drone

That is not correct in the state of Utah. Open and concealed carry is legal in all 50 states, with local carveouts for locations, felons, etc. In this situation, Powell can be heard racking the slide of his gun as he approaches the victim. That is typically called "brandishing" and is not...

    Goggles with Wearing Glasses?

I think it will depend on your prescription, the size and shape of your glasses, and the model of the goggles. I have the Goggles RE and I can wear my glasses comfortably inside the. Because I'm old, I have progressive lens in my day-to-day eyeglasses and they don't work that well inside the...

Man fatally shoots another over a drone

There is a difference in intent between carrying a firearm and going out with it unholstered and in your hand with a round in the chamber. In any case, it's a moot point. Powell could have used a knife or thrown a rock. It doesn't matter how he killed the victim, he killed him. We don't know...

Man fatally shoots another over a drone

The problem that Powell would have with that argument is that he had approached the victim while he (Powell) was holding a handgun. It was a confrontation instigated by Powell. From the reported coverage, the police have his surveillance video footage. The confrontation is not on the video, he...

Man fatally shoots another over a drone

You may want to read up on the laws in Utah. While Utah has a version of the "stand your ground" type of law, they are very detailed on what would be considered justified for the use of deadly force. IANAL, but this situation doesn't fit it. It's easy to find online, or just go to Utah Code...

To get the exact words that he used, you need to contact either Ogden PD and request to the see the charging document or contact one of the reporters who covered the case. From KSL: 1 dead in Ogden shooting; suspect charged He's "screwed" because he murdered someone. Not because he gave a...

South NJ drone dropping sea dye into pools

You are referencing Canadian civil aircraft regulations for crimes in NJ? While they can charge him for violating FAA regulations, there are plenty of laws on the book for vandalism. The penalties for vandalism (second-degree criminal mischief) in NJ are based on the cost of the damage. He...
