    Antigravity A1 sub forum please

I would guess that they are using the same sensors as their handheld cameras. The largest sensors that they are using are the 1/1.28" dual sensors in their X5 cameras. That is the same size as the dual sensors in A1.

Y'all figured out how to load fly onto android 13 yet?

It doesn't matter if it's a phone or a tablet. The setting to install unknown apps can be located or named differently, depending on the device and the version of Android that it's running. Modern versions of Android let you search for settings. Open up the settings app and search for either...

There are a few tutorials online for pairing the Goggles and Goggles RE with a Mavic 2 (Pro/Zoom). DJI's tutorial: Also

Mavic 2 pro, Smart Controller, Racing Googles

You'll want the DJI Goggles RE. I have a pair that I bought from another user here, and they work great with my Mavic 2 Pro.

Which is great if you are purchasing drones for the military market. Parrot exited the consumer business.

    Antigravity A1 sub forum please

Parrot is a French company, and unless they get a waiver, new drones from them will not be allowed. The FCC announcement did not have any carve-outs for "allied products".

Why do you think Insta 360/Antigravity won't be able to recover from the lack of access to the US market? We are a large market, no dispute there. But the US market is just a slice of the global market. The result is that the rest of the world gets to have nicer things. If one company had been...

    Antigravity A1 sub forum please

The only thing that the A1 has in common with the Karma is that they were both developed by companies in the sport camera business. When you enter a mature market, you need to disrupt the market to have any chance. The Karma didn't do that it and the hardware design was flawed. The A1 brings...

Because there is no indication that it (Antigravity aka Insta360 aka Arashi Vision) is going out of business? Not available in the US ≠ company going out of business "shortly". They'll still sell enough throughout the rest of the global marketplace to warrant further development. Insta360 spun...

    Antigravity A1 sub forum please

Or perhaps a "BIrds of the same feather" forum. The recent FCC issues will affect all non-US drone companies. It would be helpful to have a common place to share information and come up with potential strategies.

Wish I had thought of this before

That would not be applicable here. The 1709 requirement was for a security audit to be performed by an authorized agency. Failure to have a completed audit would trigger adding the named companies to the Covered List. IANAL, but... A challenge to an FCC ban like this would almost certainly be...

    Insta360 Antigravity

We can see, time did tell. Biden blocked the sales of Chinese EVs in the US with prohibitive tariffs. China is now the leading exporter of EVs worldwide. Huawei is doing well, just not in the US. By going after all non-US made drones, the FCC leveled the playing field for DJI. Their...

Losing roughly 30% of the market is a big hit. but not enough to end a product line. Being added to the Entity list didn't "end" Hauwei. Blocking Chinese EVs in the US didn't end their production. Assuming the A1 is a success, there will be an A2. We just won't see it in the US.

What might a FCC drone ban look like on eBay?

Resideo was caught reselling Hikvision and/or Dahua cameras under its own brand. Hikvision and Dahua were banned by the FCC a few years back because they were unbelievably bad at security. If another company attempts to sell DJI drones under their own name, the FCC will 100% go after them.
