How to exceed the 500 m height (AGL) limit?

Thanks for the clarification, I meant “above TOP” as you stated :) Yes, but in my case I don’t mean to stay more than legal amount of meters above ground, but I would like to be able to “climb” the sides of mountains eg 100m height till I reach the top. Some of those hills/mountains are a bit...

How to exceed the 500 m height (AGL) limit?

No I don’t want to do that.. I guess Lichi won’t let me do this either? I’ve never tried it..

How to exceed the 500 m height (AGL) limit?

Hi, The drone software does not let me fly higher than 500m above my remote. Is it possible to exceed this limitation? Thanks :)

After connected to iPhone, can’t turn Osmo off??

    Thanks for the reply!

M2P obstacle avoidance system - when sensing obstacle (wall), I'm "stuck" at the wall unable to back away!

Thank you for useful inputs. To sum it all up: If the drone is “stuck” or “glued” to the wall, always remember that “sport mode” is your friend as it will turn of sensors and let you do necessary moves. Changing altitude up/down next to the object may also let you free. :)

I found out that Osmo Action’s HDR mode isn’t actually HDR at all

Thank you for this discovery! How do most companies create the “HDR” video mode? Is it usually done like this (just an automatic process of raising the shadows and lowering light areas from the same flat image/frame) or are there competitors who make real hdr (eg. by recording let’s say 75 fps...

After connected to iPhone, can’t turn Osmo off??

Hi, I got the action only a few days ago, this this might very well be an user error.. Problem: I’ve connected the Osmo action to my iPhone (WiFi, Mimo app) a couple of times, and most of the times (might be all of the times, don’t remember) I cannot seem to figure out how to turn the Osmo off...

M2P obstacle avoidance system - when sensing obstacle (wall), I'm "stuck" at the wall unable to back away!

That's a valid point, paulatkin73. I can imagine that - since the side sensors are off - flying in partly sideways would make the front and/or back sensors see the wall getting closer and refuse to fly either way. But shouldn't the drone understand that the obstacle is to the left of the drone...

M2P obstacle avoidance system - when sensing obstacle (wall), I'm "stuck" at the wall unable to back away!

Hi, I recently purchased the new M2P upgrading from the MPP. It was definitely the right choice for me, wanting the best image quality for the buck. I do however remember I had one peculiar issue with the MPP which it seems to apply to the new M2P drone as well. Problem: a few days ago I wanted...

Magnetic north pole is on the loose

Hehe yes, a working compass will always show magnetic north, and usually never have a problem with this task. The problem is of course to correct for the deviation to get true north (using the global model, which is now updating) :)

Magnetic north pole is on the loose

Interesting article about magnetic north. Maybe we can use this as an excuse when we get compass errors [emoji14] (yes I know this is not the case...) Earth's magnetic field is acting up and geologists don't know why. Earth's magnetic field is acting up and geologists don't know why.

Can you lose your drone if you aren't on GPS mode and you have no cellular service? And why did my remote disconnect on the holidays?

Hubson has a few as well. Bought one of their cheap ones, increased my confidence in “manual” mode by a lot. Recommend!

    DJI What a joke.

So am I, something tells me we will not see them. Sad, this is a good chance for the OP to share a rare happening with other users and support his/her claim. I mean, what’s the point bashing on DJI having potentially excellent proof, but choose not to share it? Unfortunately it makes it look a...

    DJI What a joke.

Brianmm64, maybe you didn't see the other posts, but could you please upload the flight logs? That would be a great aid in helping you proving your point =) Also, the logs could help future drone pilots if they happen to suffer from the same failure. As others have posted, click here for help...
