Here is the reply I received today. Good to know.
"Hi,
if you are unable to fly the mission with our app, please use the DJI GO app. Let us know if you have any additional questions let us know.

Hey all,
Trying to build my portfolio and DB seems like a good way to wet my beak so to speak.. With that said, it seems they want you to execute missions using their "pilot app." My issue is, I am running a SC, and DB app is not available in Amazon store.
1) Does the flight need to be...
Any of you guys still flying DB missions? Was about to take one and they state that you need to fly the mission with their app, is that the case? I ask because Im using a smart controller and the DB app is not available on amazon app store.

I haven't been using airdata mostly due to the monthly fees, but I have yet to have any coms errors while flying manually or doing a waypoint mission with Litchi. DJI's comment seems like a CYA statement to me as they release SDK for developers. I'll let you know if I run into any coms errors...
I'm planning on running a waypoint mission at my local ski resort today and will see if the voltage is showing. I'l also re-check RTH settings and see if it works today. Thanks for the advice!

I am using Litchi on SC with my Mavic 2 pro and everything seems to be working correctly with manual flight, waypoint missions, etc. However, my battery...
Hey All,
I wanted to just throw a "big thanks" out to the community for the wealth of information I have already gleaned from this forum. What an amazing resource this group is. You all helped guide me into the purchase of a Mavic 2 pro. I'm 27 flights in with no issues so far. Continuing to...
