Flying in Australia & New Zealand

This is the first time I am seeing this list, however as mentioned earlier it was a lengthy process to apply and seek permission. I applied for most of the local councils in south Island and only one gave me permission to fly. Worth a try... see how you go and please report back...

    Mavic Air Interference Issues Question?

I have had similar issues with my drone. Not due to planes. MA WIFI signals are not strong as the Mavic Pro etc. This is due to different forms of comms ie WIFI vs OcuSync 2.0. If you fly near power lines etc or near another drone flyers, I found MA to have issues... it could also have...

    First time Mavic Air owner

DJI dont make them as far as I am aware, be very careful with 3rd party propellers as poor quality will result in malfunctioning drone ... I am not an expert on this, however I haven't heard too much positive reviews coming so far.. I am sure there was a dedicated topic on this on the forum ..

    Hi from Tassy AU

Howdy from Sydney. Welcome to the forum! Download the CASSA app, that would tell you where you can fly your drone (even in your own land, you need to follow the rules if you want to be 100 % compliant). In Tassie there are many places you can fly, lot better than the mainland.

Is the Mavic Air good enough?

Watch "DJI Mavic Air BEST Settings vs Pro | Tutorial" on YouTube This is a good comparison between the MP and MA. I thought this is a good review...
