I did not had any problems with that, most locations you can fly your drone in Iceland. Some places there is a sign with 'nodrone zone' but not that many.

Thanks! It really was amazing. The first day(April 12) I was really close to the volcano maybe something like 50m not sure. The second time I was further away (May 3). It's hard to say how far. Maybe somewhere around 500m. I don't how close you can get without damaging your drone. Other people...

If you just keep your drone under 120m there is no problem. I filmed this on the 12th of April and May 3
