No. Just downloaded it onto my Mac desktop. Not sure how to or if I really want to risk it via a bin file download - I've always gone down the auto upload on the CS settings page.

This is the title of the file for the 7.85" CS - ZS600A_v2630_20180412.bin And almost identical re the 5.5" file - ZS600B_v2630_20180412.bin The date entry is at the end and, I presume, the version number of the firmware in the middle, i.e. v02.06.0300 ???

Might be a bit premature here but there are two firmware releases for the 5.5" and the 7.85" CS on the DJI CrystalSky website dated today. Both are in Zip format and around 860Mb. No release notes though and when I try to do an auto update on my CS it tells me that I have the latest version...

Don’t fancy doing a Dremel on the MavMount alloy. I’ve emailed the team who make the MavMount and they are investigating the viability of producing one to fit.

A bit of an update re the CS hoods, particularly the 7.85" one. If, as I am, you use a MavMount with the 7.85 CS, you can't have the hood on as well. Reason? The base of the MavMount, i.e. between the front and rear 'lips' (the front one has 'mavmountcs' engraved on it) is now not wide enough to...

IMHO yes I would recommend it over the PolarPro kit as it does more than protect the screen - it shades it too! The 5.5 CS simply snaps into place unlike its bigger cousin which utilises two in-built plastic hooks on one length and two hinge-type plastic hooks on the opposite length.

Got my two hoods yesterday. Well made, nice tight fit. My only disappointment is that I’ve been using the 7.85” CS with my MavicMount - can’t do anymore if I have the monitor hood attached, shame. The smaller 5.5” attached directly to either the Mavic or Spark with the DJI attachment is perfect.

If you want to fly then take the offer you've been given. Even if a Mavic Pro 2 is announced it will be some time after the announcement that they will be readily available to consumers, and you will have wasted both the offer and your time.
