    UK CE to FCC working

But your drone doesn't have GPS signal? No one has had any issues switching between CE and FCC indoors (or in a microwave). It's when the drone moves outside and gets GPS signal that things switch back to CE (unless you have hacked iOS app)

    UK CE to FCC working

Sorry I may have forgot to report: I have a jailbroken iPad, so I tried out the hacked app, and I also compared this to the non-hacked iOS with the 'fake GPS approach' I did a range test (not to max range, but about 2/3s of max range, when interference starts kicking in). The difference was...

FCC mode is only possible with the hacked app

    Fcc mode

The FCC hack doesn't work on iOS or Android (its just a display bug) You can get it working with a hacked version of the Fly app (on iOS only)

Is there a forum or development community around these modified DJI Fly/Go apps? Would be interested to track development of a possible Android version

    Modified iOS apps?

BUMP Does anyone know of any Android based modified DJI Fly apps? Particularly with a way to lock in FCC mode?

Anyone know of any modified Fly Apps for Android that enable FCC?

    UK CE to FCC working

I dont think it has anything to do with the phone app. After another test I'm quite confident that this is the case. The drone will prompt a switch back to CE mode once it picks up satalites. I just did the following test: phone in airplane mode and location spoofed. Put drone in FCC mode...

    UK CE to FCC working

Either that we're all in FCC mode, despite the Android app (and to some extent, iOS app) suggesting we're not. Or (more likely in my opinion) none of us are in true FCC. Best way to prove one way or the other is to do a number of controlled flights to test: fly it in both CE and pseudo-FCC and...

    UK CE to FCC working

Could be a display error. As when you're in FCC mode, the Channel Mode offers the two options (even on iOS). Maybe this is just a bg in the iOS software display, as this is a hardware issue with the drone, and we all have same drone. iOS vs Android might display differently, but ultimately what...

    Both, makes no difference

    UK CE to FCC working

So I have played around with this. It doesn't work. I cant get it into FCC perfectly fine, but as soon as the drone gets a GPS lock (either stationary, or when props are started up, or if its hovering 1m off the ground - doesn't matter) it switches back to CE mid-flight. I dont think it has...

    UK CE to FCC working

How sure are people that the drone doesn't just change modes whilst flying? I tested this indoors. If I spoof the drone into FCC indoors, and start the motors, it should stay in FCC right? Well, if I disable airplane mode and disable fake GPS on my phone, the transmission then switches back to...

    UK CE to FCC working

There is a chance that the drone is already locking onto the satatlies during startup before I have a chance to initiate the motors. Is there a way to trying and delay this? (without using tinfoil or my hand :) )
