The 2800 is perfect for the drone, batteries, and remote. It’s my go fly case, all accessories stay at home. Here is my setup below with the Apache 2800. The case is such a great value at under $25 using the 20% off coupon.
I feel your pain. One of my batteries is bricked as well, sending back to DJI today for repair/replacement. Although yours may be fixable by inserting into Aircraft, mine won’t light up at all.
Where was this heavily detailed? It’s a design flaw plain and simple. All other FlyMore combos have charged the same way. Glad you are not the engineer. Do not leave a design gap for consumer error that will in the long run cost the company money.
I charged like I do all of my other FlyMore combos, now I have a bricked battery. Bad design plain and simple, atleast put a big Red sticker over the hub stating to charge using the cable the first go around.
I called DJI support, not a good experience. Rep was very rude, and basically said there are no other options to try, and that I would need to send it in for repair.
I’ve never had any issues charging with the hub on prior FlyMore combos, didn’t think any different. What a downer, I wish they would have put a big red sticker over the hub if they knew.
Happened to me. One battery bricked, yet I’m hearing numerous folks running the initial charge using the charging hub. Hope to know more tomorrow, support ticket is in with DJI.
