[Remote ID] Mavic Pro Platinum is Compliant!

Yea, I have a Mini, but I love my Platinum Pro. I just can’t see them tracing anyone down unless there has been a complaint. Or if someone is flying above our 400’, etc…

[Remote ID] Mavic Pro Platinum is Compliant!

Everyone keeps saying the skies are going to get more crowded? Really? I would imagine in areas yes, but where I am if anything the trend has fallen off the map. So I do not need a Karen in my business.

[Remote ID] Mavic Pro Platinum is Compliant!

I have not flown or kept up with anything since very early 2020. Could someone explain to me in layman’s terms what the flip I am reading about here. I realize everyone want their craft on the list to not have to buy a module, but what is the purpose of all this? Am I being tracked every time I fly?

    Battery replacement

I looked them up last night and found them under search. Just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke I asked the chat Customer Service and she linked me straight to the battery packs. So, everyone should at least grab one. Let them know we still need them. I have a Mavic Mini 1 and the Mavic Platinum...

I can’t make sense of this Small Airport

This is an airport that I am about 4.5 miles from. As far as DJI goes there seems to be no restrictions. Last week I took my Mavic Platinum up above my home to about 350-60’ Elevation. Next thing I know there is a small craft coming by me to the left at about 250’ elevation estimated. Here is...

    Sun shield for IPad mini

Has anyone had any good luck with any of the sun shields out there that also fit the iPad mini 5. I considered the one made by DJI but I have read a couple of issues with signal reductions. Thanks!

Cache Maps properly DJI GoFly app

I have a Mini and a Mavic Platinum. The maps seem to cache so much easier with the DJI GO compared to DJI Fly. I can even choose how much ram I am willing to use with Go. I can also close and open the app with WiFi off and the maps are still there. Why can’t it be this easy with DJI Fly?

Brand new mavic pro. I can’t calibrate for the life of me

It‘s wild that they are still cranking them out. I chose the Platinum because I am still basically a beginner and it came down to cost. My Platinum surpasses my skill level by leaps and bounds anyway. They have to be selling a ton of them to still be manufacturing them up until at least...

Brand new mavic pro. I can’t calibrate for the life of me

You would be surprised. I looked up my MPP and it was made August 15 of 2019. I would have never thought they would still be producing them in 2019 at all.

Thinking of grabbing Pro from DJI on EBay.

Alright, I went ahead and grabbed a MPP from Best Buy so it should be ready when they open. My wife just loves the spur of the moment purchases, lol. She asked the price, I said I rather not say, she asked “2500$“, man I had more budget that I thought I did, lol.

Thinking of grabbing Pro from DJI on EBay.

Also, will the mini iPad fit in the controller similar to the Mavic Mini? Thanks!

Thinking of grabbing Pro from DJI on EBay.

Since y’all are both here with the MPP. Would be worth the extra little bit and get the PP? I mean I don’t see what’s the harm in spending around 300 more if it’s worth the while?

Thinking of grabbing Pro from DJI on EBay.

I have a Mavic Mini and it’s great, love it. But what I don’t love is watching UAV Forecast like a hawk waiting for perfect conditions. Considering a Pro since they have come way down in price. My question is, since this should be well sorted out by now. I bought a new iPad mini 5 with WiFi...

The antennas in the front legs!?

So, the antennas for the mini are in the front legs. I don’t have a deep understanding of antennas. But, when this one was designed why could the antennas be run in the front legs like they are now but also run to the back of the unit? It’s no big deal really, I just notice when I turn the Mini...
