    New Recurrent Test

I'm not a part 61...I just simply want to know if there will be a recurrent online program/exam available online in the near(ish) future, or I should plan on studying and scheduling to take a test at the local airport. I'm just a plain old part 107 certificate holder that hasn't taken a...

    New Recurrent Test

Well....****! I linked over to another thread and realized that evidently I will still need to test again because the online recurrent program is not for part 107 certificate holders. If anyone qual can clarify, I would appreciate i.

    New Recurrent Test

Thank you for the replies. I imagine that the FAA will send us all an email when the new program is launched, but please post in case we miss it. Whether there is a test or not, I’m grateful for the convenience and cost savings with the new program.

    New Recurrent Test

I searched for an answer and didn't find one. If this has already been covered, my apologies… What's going on with the Part 107 Recurrent testing with the new rules. My certificate has expired, but if the FAA is going to offer online recurrent testing, I'll just wait it out. Thanks

Hi All, I did a search to find this information first and didn't locate it. I apologize if this subject has been covered. My biggest fear is a flyaway. The thought of that much money literally "flying away" scares the heck out of me, not to mention the potential damage to somebody or their...

When the competition plays by their own rules.

Hey All, As a small business owner, I can tell you that things can and do go wrong. If someone gets injured or property is damaged, the first rule lawyers follow is "sue everyone"! Sue you, sue the realtor, the wedding planner, the manufacturer, etc...If that happens, you better have your...

Flying in the clouds - advice needed!

Hi All, I don't mean to be the bad guy here, but the rules in the U.S. are that a drone must operate 500 feet under vertical cloud altitudes and 2000 feet horizontally from clouds. I am aware that there is a difference between flying in rain and fog at low altitudes. Also aware that mountains...

    Nervous Neighbor

Just because it's legal doesn't make it right. We all are forced to put up with crap like intentionally loud exhaust systems, music too loud, litter bugs, and rude people. I try to avoid being one of these inconsiderate folks because they're not making the world a better place. Approaching the...
