I like Corel's Pinnacle Studio 23 Ultimate. One set price (no monthly charges) and tons of features. Also included are thousands of files of special noise effects and royalty-free background music. I had Adobe Premiere Pro but this is just as good and not so bulky to use.

Get a set of parabolic reflectors. Increased my signal by 30%. They were $10 from ThreeKing.

You shouldn't need parabolic reflectors at that range--but I bought a set of the "Threeking" and they REALLY add the distance. About 1/3 more.

I spent the extra money and took the "DroneLaunchAcademy.com) course. Passed the test just this morning. First try. Got an 88%-- Most people might say not to spend the extra money but I felt it was worth it.
