Its not a firmware update. It is a DJI Fly app update.

If you go to the iOS app store and look at DJI Fly compatibility you will see the Apple Mini 2, 3, 4 and 5 all listed. This is the compatibility list that gets updated every time the app is updated unlike the compatibility list on DJI.com which isn't updated very frequently.

When doing the 06.01.0670 update I thought I saw something mentioned about GPS but I don’t see anything anywhere else about it. It also said available with GO 4 v4.3.38. Did anyone catch what that was?

One battery gets updated when you update the RC and MA2 via the Fly app. The other two batteries need to be updated when you use them.
