Well, this year we have probably seen more snow in Spain than you can imagine. The situation in Madrid was classified as catastrophic and lots of areas had temperatures below -15°C. I'm well familiar with the UK and its climate, that is why I stay in Spain. [emoji1]

If flying in populated areas with high buildings and other obstacles it is likely that GPS will not work properly due to the signals bouncing around. I don't say this is the reason but could well be.

Well, for my M2Z it seems like some flight settings are held in the app and some are also stored internally in the drone, so it must have been used at least once with the app before it can be flown without the app, or ...?

Mostly an academic question. I have an M2Z that I've flown a couple of times without the mobile/tablet connected and its a good option if you are just practicing.

Can the Mini 2 be flown without connecting the controller to the mobile and/or the app?

Forgot to give my feedback on this: yes indeed, if you reach your distance or height restriction, GPS mode will kick in and you will not be able to switch back to ATTI for the rest of the flight (as far as I remember).
