I tried the same thing today, but the snow was too wet & heavy. Glad to see it works with the lighter snow, nice work.

I put my IPhone in do not disturb mode. Can still get maps, etc... but won't get phone calls/alerts/texts.

The "throttle" to ascend/descend on the thumb control seems too far off from a stick airplane to make me want one. I did't see if you can customize the controls, to have the stick forward/backward control throttle (Altitude)?

Wow, It's like I could have written this post. Drone, firearms, conservative in the people's republic of MA. I feel your pain.
