I would not have purchased a Mavic Air if it weren't for Litchi. 95% of my flying is Litchi missions. Range is only limited by your battery. I've gone over 2.5 miles out several times.

I have 8 batteries for my P4 and two P4 A. I noticed today one battery with 78 charges had swelling and was a very tight fit into the drone. Airdata showed the battery was 3 years old. I discarded the battery. I fly long Litchi missions, many over water. No need to take chances.

Two things to remember. Litchi can only control the gimbal pitch automatically during the mission, as long as the aircraft is within range of the remote controller. If signal is lost during the mission, the aircraft will continue the mission at the speed it was travelling at when it lost signal.
