Ordered 4/29 from Best Buy. Fly more kit. Says it will arrive by 5/11. Fingers crossed. I saw a review where the guy used an existing tablet holder and it worked. It does require a longer cable.

My wife just did a phone upgrade. I took her old phone(iphone7plus) ,reset it and restored it using my Apple ID without bring over apps,etc and now use it as my rc device. When flying in a remote area I can use my phones hotspot for the gps map to work if I need to change the return to home...

Correct. I have only one map display in the bottom left of the screen, but I can toggle between the two. If I’m on the edge of vlos I prefer the orientation display to know which way the drone is pointing. I was just curious what you guys used the most often between the two. An iPad mini 4 is on...

I am new in the drone world. Flew RC for many years. I'm curious as to what most people use when flying, the map screen or the direction screen. in my newbie experience it seems the direction screen more accurately shows the position of the aircraft to the pilot.

I’m running the Drone Valley covers and like then. No noticeable difference in flight or flight time. I teased my prop screws with blue loctite.

I flew the Mini today and now my compass orientation works flawlessly. Turning those features on in the IPhone 10R did the trick. Hope this helps someone.
