    Mini 2 Crash, what to do now?

    I had a damaged gimbal on my Air 2. I sent it to DJI Netherlands for repair. It cost €91 including shipping and they actually sent me a new or refurbished drone. I found their service excellent.

    Does a home repair invalidate Care Refresh or Warranty if there is a future crash if the repair isn't the cause?

    I bought a damaged Mavic Air 2. I replaced 3 of the arms and the gimbal. The gimbal then gave a permanent gimbal stuck error. I sent it to DJI who charged me €91 and sent a new drone without quibble. Excellent service even though it was not under warranty.

    Hi I take off from the grass above the beach near the castle and get high enough to keep within the regulations. I usually go out to sea. You can get some good shots there. Image attached. Chris

    Advice from UK based Mavic Flyers...

    I am also from the South East. Flew my Mavic Air at Whitstable from the beach last Saturday. No problems. A few people around but nobody minded. I usually get interest from people rather than abuse.

    Hi I fly in Kent and get a lot of interest but nothing negative. I even had a lady dog walker who asked me to land it so her dog could get used to it! I have a Magic air and it is a superb drone.

    Hi I set the frequency manually depending on which has the least traffic. I just use the DJI app. Where in Kent are you. I am near Longfield. I flew at Bluebell hill last Sunday.
