For me, reformatting has been necessary. If I don't reformat my SD card at least every other time of use, I run into a "disk unreadable" situation when I connect my drone to my PC via USB. As long as I format my card, I don't get this error.
It's not that the drone doesn't like the card, it's the PC that doesn't recognize the sd card when connecting the drone via USB cable. Again, this only happens sporadically, on about 3rd time or so. I checked the card for issues... the test showed none. I'll switch to the 64GB card to see if...
True, although the Mavic 2 Pro manual says that you can use up to 128GB cards. I'll do the chkdsk routine (via dos prompt), but if it doesn't find any issues, I think I'll switch to the 64GB version and see how that works.
You suggest a reformat on a PC? I always thought rule was to do the reformat on the same device using the card (?).
I posted this issue about a year ago and the consensus at that time was that the issue was probably the fact that I reformatted the disk to begin with. No one seems to format...
I have a recurring issue with the "SanDisk 128GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card" I use in my M2P. About every third shoot (or so) I get a "disk unreadable. please format" type error when I try to upload files from my M2P. I have no idea why this happens, but If I reformat that card every...
I don't have atough time doing LAANC requests. BUT, when I went to the Kittyhawk website to make my request, I instantly got a message telling me that to use that tool I needed a Enterprise account. That was the challenge I had....
The first time tried this was via the web and their website. When I hit the "submit" button I got a notice that I was required to have an Enterprise account to submit outside of a auto LAANC authorization.
I then tried the KittyHawk app and I was able to do post my request just fine. Still...
Do you have an Kittyhawk enterprise account? I just tried doing an authorization (via web) for a flight above the 50 ft LAANC auto authorize zone and was told that I needed a enterprise account to do so. Is that true?
I'd like to fly in a DJI Red Zone, slightly above the LAANC Automated authorization that's available at or below 50 ft for a specific location (ideally at 200 ft max)
Apparently LAANC will automatically reject this request which means that I can't get authorization required to unloack a DJI Red...
I think I found the answer... just search on the county name + "GIS map" into Google and it will take you a county website where where that info can be found.
