He has been banned. It appears this was originally a legit user who had his email/pwd leaked in a hack (from another site) and used to log in here to take over his profile.

This is resolved. For those interested, if any of our emails are flagged as spam (even inadvertently) then our email service provider (Amazon SES) will add that email to a suppression list. from then on all our emails will be blocked from being sent, even if configured correctly here...

Ok, currently running a process to require a password reset on all accounts that haven't logged in since June 1, 2024 - 176k of them. That should reduce these issues a bit.

I believe it auto-saves per thread, if you give it enough time before leaving the screen. At least that is how it appears to work for me. I suspect there are some settings (cookie, etc..) that could disable it.
