There should have been a considerable online campaign to have a DJI fly-up today. A time of day when all across the country, pilots would just take off & fly up for a short period of time, just to say "we're still here" and your ban is baseless
We value the ability to redress our grievances with our government regardless the marginal effect or the resulting outcome. It's an American thing. We are not yet prepared as a community to pull off something like this on a grand scale but that's no excuse for dismissing the idea. In the event there is a phase two (FCC cert revoked) I suggest we "protest." I suggest we start "organizing" now.It wouldn't make any difference and very few people (if any) would have seen it.

Maybe plan this for a day when we can all get behind it (New Year’s?), and give us sufficient time to alert all the media. They are in the same fix with their fleets. There should have been a considerable online campaign to have a DJI fly-up today. Thank you for cleaning up that “stuff”.Hey all - while difficult on a topic like this, please avoid the political finger-pointing as required by our community rules. Your posts will be deleted if you cross the line here..
I have 10 dji drones but my 107 only allows me to fly one at a time without a waver. I wonder if the DAA will grant me a waver to fly them all at the same time. I am sure that I could get them all up. One after another, each for about one minute.Yeah on Dec 23 at noon there should have been 23 minutes of thousands if not a million DJI drones all airborne across the country all at the same time to show just how many drones are actually in the hands of civilians.
Maybe we can plan something for the new round 2 of sanctions coming up next year.
How ?Brendan Carr is no friend of ours, and could shut down our DJI drones in 30 days easily.
I don't know him but he does appear to be spiteful and petty.Better reconsider some kind of a mass US protest because we would be inviting the FCC to next ban EXISTING drones. My experience with tugging on Superman's Cape is that it never works out well.
Brendan Carr is no friend of ours, and could shut down our DJI drones in 30 days easily. We all better enjoy our sport quietly in the USA, or risk losing all DJI drones for good.
But nothing he can do will stop DJI drones from being able to fly.I don't know him but he does appear to be spiteful and petty.
I dunno, seems like people near New Jersey were paying a LOT of attention to drone flights back in Nov of 2024.Not all we Americans value speaking out about our government in ways that are ineffective and unproductive. You don't "redress our grievances" by actions with no effect or outcome.
You don't have to be an American citizen to understand that very few people would even notice even tens of thousands of simultaneous drone flights across the country. The time would be more productively spent on the phone with the offices of members of Congress.
